CEO Message

In 2018, we were able to celebrate our 45th anniversary.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued support.
Although we aimed to make a safe and functional truck body from the customer's point of view with the motto "service spiritual spear", the needs of the world such as specialized vehicles and environmentally friendly vehicles that have diversified have been increasing day by day I will.
We will continue leaping as a track body specialist that can contribute to society together with our customers looking forward to the future.

Corporate history

April 1973

Body manufacturing / repair service Established SHINSEI Co., Ltd.

October 1976

Entered the maritime containers division.

May 1979

Established Sea Container Service Division, established Star Sea Container Service Limited Company.

May 1983

Yokohama KOZUKE small machine factory opened in Yokohama-shi Kohoku-ku. Start manufacturing and repairing the car body at our factory.

May 1987

Yokohama HONMOKU factory opened in Shinyamashita-cho, Naka-ku, Yokohama. Start production and repair of car body, and container repair.

December 1989

Atsugi City Atsugi established Atsugi Plant. Start car body manufacturing and repair.

April 1991

Opened Sagami Factory in Nakatsu, Aikawa Town, Kanagawa Prefecture. Start production and repair of car body, and paint.

June 1991

Okayama Prefecture Okayama branch office opened in Fruehauf Okayama Co., Ltd. in Yoshinagami-gun, Izumi-gun. Start car body manufacturing / repair.

October 1992

Set up the Atsugi and Sagami factories independently, established Shonan Shinsei Co., Ltd.

September 1994

Kyushu Prefecture Kanzaki-gun Kanzaki-cho Fruehauf Kyushu Co., Ltd. opened a Kyushu branch office. Start car body manufacturing and repair.

April 1995

Yokohama-shi Asahi-ku New plant of Yokohama Plant in Shirane Town, KOZUKUE factory and Honmoku factory will be consolidated and relocated.

July 1996

Service department is newly established in Oi pier in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.

December 1997

Construction of headquarters building in Yokohama factory premises. Head office functions and Shinsei Group headquarters moved.

August 1999

New headquarters factory of Shonan Shinsei Co., Ltd. is established at No. 3004 on Atsugi City Atsugi, Atsugi and Sagami plants will be consolidated and transferred.

August 1999

Open branch of Shonan Shinsei Co., Ltd. in Nippon Fruehauf Co., Ltd. Kamiyoshi Atsugi City. Start car body manufacturing and repair.

December 2000

Established SGS Limited Company in Wake-cho, Okayama Prefecture. Okayama branch office in Fruehauf Okayama Co., Ltd. and Kyushu branch office in Fruehauf Kyushu Corporation are independent from Shinsei Co., Ltd.

December 2000

Established SGS Limited Company in Tsukui-gun, Tsukui-cho. Independent Shonan Shinsei Co., Ltd. as a branch office in Japan Fruehauf Co., Ltd.

March 2004

Moved the head office of SGS Co., Ltd. in Okayama Prefecture's Wake-cho to Akebono-cho, Tachikawa-shi, Tokyo.

May 2004

Moved as Tokyo Factory from Keihin Service Department in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo to Keihinjima in Ota Ward, Tokyo.

April 2007

Changed the trade name with SGS Co., Ltd., from SGS Limited Company, Akebono-cho, Tachikawa City, and increase the capital.

April 2007

Changed the company name with SGS Co., Ltd., from SGS Limited Company, Tsukui Town, Sagamihara-shi and increase the capital.

April 2007

Establish SHINSEI International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Thailand.

May 2007

Changed the name of the Star Sea Container Service Limited Company to Star Sea Container Service Co., Ltd., and increase the capital.

December 2009

Close the Okayama plant of SGS Co., Ltd.

January 2010

Transfer headquarters of SGS Co., Ltd. in Tachikawa-shi, Tokyo, to Shirane-machi, Asahi-ku, Yokohama-shi.

January 2010

Transfer the headquarters of SGS Co., Ltd. in Tsukui-cho, Sagamihara-shi to Atsugi City.

July 2014

Establish SHINSEI NAN TAW Co., Ltd. in Myanmar.

March 2016

Mid - to long - term residence type Jin Residence opened in Myanmar.
